The 法医科学 Residential 学习 Community is for any student enrolled in the BGSU Bachelor of 科学 in 法医科学 in 法医科学 degree program, or seeking a 通路 (pursuing entry to the BSFS program) to enrollment through either the Biology or Chemistry Department. 这个社区 不 for those that plan on pursuing a Biology major or Chemistry major with a forensic specialization. 这个社区 不 用于决定学生. 这个社区也是 不 intended for criminal justice majors, including those in the forensic investigation specialization. The community is designed to offer students a targeted support ne两个rk to improve classroom learning and academic success, as well as provide unique opportunities beyond the classroom to investigate the real world of forensic science.

住宅需求 | 学生 who are members of the 法医科学 学习 Community are 不 要求 to live within the community in order to be a member but it is an added benefit. If a member chooses to live within the community, their roommate can be a non-member.
关于社区 | 学生 live in a diverse population in Offenhauer塔 along with other highly ambitious and motivated students who are members of other learning communities. 学生 work, live and hang out together to ease the transition to college life.
Offenhauer塔 | This hall houses over 800 students in Double and Single Traditional Rooms with air conditioning. The rooms are some of the largest on campus and the hall features Outtakes Quick Cuisine in the lobby. 有趣的事实: The Offenhauer塔 are the 两个 tallest buildings on campus at 10 and 11 stories.

Each community has a set of residence hall rooms specifically designated for them. 来登记其中一个房间, 你必须申请, and be accepted into the community, 4月25日之前, 2018. To ensure your chance to live in the community, please complete the following steps:

If you have applied for 两个 and change your mind, go into the system and withdraw yourself from the one(s) you are no longer interested in. This will open up a space for you again. |
After you have submitted your request to join a community, you will receive an email from the community director approving your request. When it’s time for you to select your room in the next phase, you will be able to view and select rooms within the designated community space in the community’s residence hall. 例如, if you choose to join the 查普曼学习社区, you will select a room in Kohl hall.
