Summer 2024 教师 Writing Retreat

Join the 卓越教师中心 (CFE) and University 库 for the Summer 2024 教师 Writing Retreat, 一个密集的, 为期三天的, in-person writing retreat running from Monday, 7月29日至周三, 7月31日, 2024. Designed to advance participants’ individual writing and research goals and projects, this retreat will provide you with an opportunity to connect with colleagues, accomplish writing and research goals, and receive resources and support from various departments across campus.  

During each day of the retreat, you will have dedicated time to write and work individually on your own research and writing projects. 的 retreat will also include opportunities for goal-setting and networking as well as workshops and 磋商 on research and writing-related topics. 在静修结束时, you will reflect on your accomplishments during the retreat and set goals for your future writing and research productivity.

You must be able to participate in the entirety of the 为期三天的 retreat in order to register for and participate in this event. 登记 is open to full-time qualified rank faculty (QRF) and tenure-track faculty (TTF). 空间有限. 登记 is first-come, first served. 的 University and the BGSU 教师 Association (FA) share a common goal of supporting student success. 第九条第二款.7 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) states the following minimum expectations for inclusion in your course syllabus:

• A clear statement on course expectations
• 的 schedule and methods of assessment
• Indicators of support for student success
• Pedagogical efforts that engage students in the learning process

In addition to the CBA’s expectations above, the University requires that all syllabi include the statements in the Required University Policy Statements section. 的se statements are based on obligations imposed by state and federal law. 请注意, the Remotely Proctored Testing statement is only required if the instructor is utilizing remotely proctored testing.
